Designer Painting & Finishes is a commercial and hospitality painting contractor working across the United States and its territories. For over 15 years they've helped resorts, hotels, and commercial properties keep their facilities looking their best — without disrupting the guest experience. With 200+ projects and 30+ resorts and hotels completed, the track record was already there.
What wasn't there was a website that matched it. Their site hadn't been meaningfully touched since it was first built back around 2009 — and they were already planning a rebrand, ready to expand the name and update the services to reflect the larger commercial and hospitality work they'd grown into. The kind of clients they want to win — resort groups, hotel chains, property managers booking large commercial jobs — vet a contractor online before they ever pick up the phone, and a decade-plus-old presence quietly costs those bids.
On top of that, they'd been caught by a predatory domain practice. The moment their original registration lapsed, an opportunistic company snapped up the domain out from under them and tried to sell it back at a wildly inflated price — the kind of shakedown that targets small businesses the instant they drop their guard. It was one more reason to rebuild deliberately, on infrastructure they actually control.
They needed a polished, credible home base: somewhere a regional facilities manager could land, immediately understand the scope of what they do, and feel confident handing over a six-figure resort repaint.

What we built
A rebrand and a custom-coded home base
They were already set on a rebrand, so we carried it across the finish line: from the old name to Designer Painting & Finishes — a name that better reflects the full range of specialized coatings and finishes they deliver, not just paint. Then we built the site from scratch in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: no templates, no page builders, designed to read as a credible commercial contractor from the first scroll. Hosting it on Netlify also takes the domain-and-deploy setup back into their hands, so a lapse can't be exploited the same way again.
Positioned for hospitality and commercial work
The site leads with who they serve and why it matters: resorts, hotels, and commercial properties across the U.S. and its territories, kept looking their best without disrupting the guest experience. Phased, off-hours scheduling, resort-grade coatings, volume pricing, and a single dedicated project manager per job are framed as the reasons a property manager picks them over a local crew.
